Description
ARA-290 (Cibinetide) 10mg – Innate Repair Receptor Research Peptide
ARA-290, also known as cibinetide, is a synthetic 11-amino-acid peptide derived from the helix B surface of erythropoietin (EPO). Researchers use it to separate the tissue-protective signaling of EPO from its effect on red blood cell production: ARA-290 is studied as a selective ligand of the innate repair receptor, a complex of the EPO receptor and the beta common receptor (CD131).
Research Focus
- Innate repair receptor signaling: used to study EPOR/CD131 activation independently of the classical EPO receptor homodimer.
- Inflammation models: examined for effects on pro-inflammatory cytokine signaling and immune cell activity in preclinical work.
- Nerve fiber research: studied in animal models of small-fiber neuropathy and neuropathic pain signaling.
- Tissue protection: investigated in models of ischemic and metabolic tissue injury.
